A Responsible Organization (RespOrg) is a company who maintains responsibility for toll-free numbers assigned to the RespOrg and/or its customers. The RespOrg works directly with Somos who maintains the SMS/800 registry of toll-free numbers in the North American Numbering Plan Area (NANPA). A RespOrg is identified by a two-letter entity code which is appended with a letter and two digits to form a RespOrg ID (for example: VWC55).
